Clay Shirky author of Here Comes Everybody has cranked out another book on the use of social networking, this time turning his microscope on our spare time outside of work. His theory? That the amateur, DIY collaboration made possible by social networks is now leveraging time that was previously spent vegetating in front of TV and becoming a powerful driver of innovation.
