
Microsoft to open first East Coast research lab in Cambridge – The Boston Globe.
Well I have to give them some credit. Even if they seemed oblivious to good user design principles enabling Apple and others to take a large slice of their pie, Microsoft, IBM and the other big business computing vendors seem determined to understand what makes people use technologies and are hiring social scientists and building social computing labs here in Boston. Good for them.
