As if enough uses for an iPhone had not already been discovered some enterprising young ghost hunters have found that it makes perfectly okay if somewhat jumpy EMF meter. EMF meters are used by everyone from engineers to security professionals and even ghost hunters. Some evidence suggests that human made, higher power fields may also damage health so increasingly home owners are purchasing them to measure their homes. These apps make use of the magnetometer in your iPhone, the same piece of technology that allows your phone to serve as a compass. These are not the most reliable meters, but they are fun and give an idea about how they work.
