Scientists show that socioeconomic advantage can be mapped by wastewater. Waste from wealthier, better-educated communities showed higher levels of vitamins, citrus, and fiber, while the waste from poorer, less-educated communities showed higher levels of prescription pain relievers and antidepressant medications.
